He's been sitting behind in the directors booth for dinners, events, and conferences I've had a hand in for over eight years... and in a month or so he's moving to Vancouver (fade lights, run end loop, sound up).
Had a lot of fun the other night spoofing a "live" news report at a function that I co-Emcee'd. This is just prior to the event during our final run-through (that's me on the big screen)

There is a little sticker on this One Way sign. It reads, "Property State of California". Does that mean they own "One Way", or just the sign. I wonder who owns "STOP"?
Then it was the parents turn. End result, I think it was a tie. Best moment of the day came when one of the children explained after much thought, "the spiky things on here [circuit board]... that's a virus."
We grabbed a cameraman, a pile of weird new peices of technology hardware, and went to school to ask kids, "what does this do?" First we interviewed the kids....
Not the most exciting day in trailerville. The stop sign was blown over a few days ago in the big winds so they have now attched it to the fence. We hope it holds.
I am a Chef de Cuisine preparing "cook-to-order" meals for our Veterans while they reside in my hospital. My kitchen is not your typical hospital food kitchen. We cook from scratch and offer an incredible variety of choices to our patients. This is how it should be.
